“Poems of Life”

Christine Gallant’s “Poems of Life” is a collection of deeply moving poems about the everyday things and feelings of life. Gallant’s poetry shows a lot of different feelings, from the happiness of starting over to the sadness of remembering and losing someone. It does this by using both traditional rhymes and new ideas. Each poem, whether it’s about the lively Creole Queen, the meaning of life, or the comfort of nature, is based on the author’s own interests and experiences. It gives readers a look into her world and encourages them to explore the beauty and complexity of their own lives.
